This cake was made for a friend’s son’s birthday. He’s a huge State fan, so it only seemed right to make a gumpaste Sparty to top the cake. The cake is a secret family recipe for chocolate cake passed down from generation to generation of Hershey’s cocoa powder box readers. Hey, they requested the Hershey’s cake recipe, who was I to say no! This was a quick 2 day turnaround and got lots of attention from MSU fans!
