(NECN: Boston, Mass.) – The 125th anniversary season of the Boston Pops is underway. They celebrated the milestone last night with a star-studded show. Conductor Keith Lockhart led the way. www.bso.org Guest appearances included performances by Broadway star Idina Menzel and former “Tonight” show bandleader Doc Severinsen. The Pops even got a birthday cake made by the star of the Food Network show “Ace of Cakes,” Duff Goldman! The Sandwich, Massachusetts native was given the huge honor of conducting the Pops for one song! http
