Hi, Mr. Olga here. It was one of my best friend’s 40th this weekend and a cake was in order. Pat is a pilot so that left only 1 choice for the cake…AIRPLANE. A simple plane sitting on the runway was too mundane for Olga, so we devised a way to make the plane fly! I never thought cake decorating would require a blowtorch, steel, and carbide drills! The Airplane is cake on top, fondant covered foam on the bottom. The wings are gumpaste, and the wheels are rice krispy treats. Of course the hangar is completely made of delicious chocolate cake with buttercream frosting.
